slow internet in basement

Dispect

hey guys, i recently moved my computer and everything to my basement. my router + modem from Telus is on the main floor above from my basement. i tried the d-link powerline solution however my internet speeds are still unbelievably slow (10-30 ping; 5-15 mbps download; 6.5 upload by speedtest.net, speeds are really inconsistent). When it was upstairs in my bedroom before, i was getting around 10ms consistently; 25mbps and 6.5 upload by speedtest.  any tips to help solve this issue? i work and game a lot so i need very fast speeds. thanks!

With all the piping, I'm not surprised. Metal causes wireless interference. And the Powerline solution is very hit or miss.

The projects never end in my line of work.

Oh for fucks sake, wireless is fine. My pings are EVER so slightly higher on wireless. Then again, my antenna is like 2 walls away from the router. :P
