Help me choose a new phone (Android)

TNortham112

Hi, a few weeks ago I started a topic asking you guys for opinions/ suggestions on which android phones I should consider...

But now that the new htc one and Samsung phones have been officially announced, I have narrowed down my options, here they are:

Nexus 6

HTC one M9

Samsung galaxy s6

Samsung galaxy s6 edge

Samsung galaxy note 4

What are everyone's opinions with these phones?

-snip-

The M9 and both S6 phones are not out yet.

We can't judge those.

I would personally at the moment go for the Note 4, or wait until these phones actually come out to judge to market.

HTC ONE for the camera and styles, Nexus 6 for the sheer screen size and updates

Personally my top three phones are these:

1) sony z3

2) moto x

3) htc one m8

You will need to wait until the m9 and s5 are out until you can really judge them.

Go for the nexus 6 or Note 4, from there its personal preference... you're going to be waiting a while for the S6 and HTC M9 as they wont be selling anytime soon

I own an M8, and I'd say that it's a great device. Wait for the M9 to come out, then buy it. Also, whatever you end up actually buying, buy it unlocked and off-contract. It goes beyond the SIM lock and price, you'll get faster updates, less bloat, and there won't be carrier branding all over the phone.

For now, the Note 4.

Though for the next gen phones, go with M9. Samsung didn't do so good with the S6's this year that much.

note 4 out of those for sure.its.... a complete package. nexus 6 doesnt offer anything in software over a nexus 5.nothing to take advantage of the big, high res screen. the note 4 has many more features- s pen,sd slot,ir blaster, multitasking, better battery life, better screen etc etc etc

If you can wait for the M9 to be released for sale, then go for that, but otherwise I'd take the note 4 over the nexus 6 and S6, I prefer the way samsung have large screen multitasking, plus the S pen isn't as much of a gimmick as first thought.

i donno ,was it so hard to remove the ugly black bar under the screen or put the buttons there instead of on screen buttons?

this front design would have been great

If we're going by history - M9 if you want a "normal" size phone (though it's pretty tall because of those dual front facing speakers).

If you want a phablet, Note4.

That said, wait some more and see what people say at MWC this year. It's happening right now. Maybe Samsung really did do a 360 with Touchwiz on the S6.

I own a note 4 and it is great. The display is awesome and the battery life is really good, touchwiz is a bit annoying though. I also have a one m7 and it is really snappy with Cyanogenmod but the battery is not so good
