Highspeed Cameras

Dear Linus, i would like to know what is good Highspeed Camera for small budget and big budget. Example. My budget is like 400-600 euros. I think it's a small budget.

And highspeed camera, for what use? Imagine the moment when you drop a glass containing an egg (not boiled one), what will happen? I want to see it as slowmotion and i want to make slowmotion videos.

@Rainsweeper iPhone 6 perhaps? It shoots 240fps HD, and actually does quite a good job of it, and I don't know if there's any cameras in that price range that will do a better job.

The problem here is there is not a big consumer demand for super slow-mo camera and as such all the cameras that can do it are very specialized and targeted at professionals - engineers, scientists and the like. So they can be very expensive.

GoPro 4 can do 240fps at 720p or 120fps at 1080p.

If you need anything more slow motion, you'll have to go into very niche products that DO NOT have the resolutions of the GoPro.

I don't think iPhone 6 is good enough for my use, because i have already a Phone (Sony Xperia M2 Aqua, because it is better in my job as a pipe fitter), 720p is enough for me, 1080p is a bonus if it is supported. Ok, so in my opinion i think something like GoPro, but maybe with higher fps. 120fps, is it good at 720p slowmotion videos enough? I don't know, maybe 240fps?

The only thing i know of that can do real high speed at somewhat usable resolution's is the casio ex f1. To get anything better you will be spending thousands of dollars, especially if you want high speed in 720p or better

I have several Spectra IV cameras that are tied into a Q7404 via RS-485 wiring. I cannot get the PTZ to work.

Is anyone else having this issue?
