Ok, so why did y'all join the glorious and wonderful LTT forums?

 

Was it for a give-away or to get help with a new build? Or another reason?

 

Just leave a response anywhere from a sentence to a paragraph explaining why.

For me, it was for a give-away. I finally decided to become an active member this past November :D

Two reasons: needed help with a motherboard problem (which ultimately couldn't be fixed), and the other forum I frequented went to shit.

My memory doesn't extend that far.

But I do recall it being related to wanting to join a forum for the first time and Linus' had just opened a few weeks ago.

And I liked Linus' videos so that was it I think.

Found linus on youtube and found this forum much more helpful compared to toms hardware

I'd heard him mention the forums in one of his videos I was watching, whilst I was first looking at building a PC, so I joined and asked about what I'd come up with and I've stayed ever since.
