They're 3800x2160. True 4K is actually at least 4000x2000, they're not 16/9 although. I don't know why people would call those 3800x2160 ones not real real 4K if you're getting some shitty aspect ratio's for true 4K monitors.

3840x2160 is true 4K.

True 4k is 4096×2160 not 3840x2160.

To be considered UHD, the resolution has to be at least 3840x2160 (or 4K (and yes that is true 4K)).

Can we not have this conversation again? 4K is not a resolution, it is a category. 3840x2160 and 4096x2160 are both 4K resolutions. If you want to be specific, then say 4K UHD or DCI 4K. But this is beside the point, naming conventions aside the OP is looking for 4096x2160 monitors. The LG is the only one I know of. Anyone else know of others?

LG Electronics 31MU97-B

Eizo ColorEdge CG318-4K

Eizo DuraVision FDH3601

Panasonic BT-4LH310

Sony PVM-X300

edit: yes, most of them are for professional video production in price ranges of 10k USD and more, but then again DCI 4K is a standard for digital cinema and not some consumers.

my acer xb280hk is advertised as both 4k and UHD says so on the box lol.

its resolution is 3840x2160 or 4kx2k as advertised.

I don't see the need to justify a 4000x2000 screen as different from UHD what's 160 pixels in the grand scheme of things.

Gaming PC: • AMD Ryzen 7 3900x • 16gb Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 3200mhz • Founders Edition 2080ti • 2x Crucial 1tb nvme ssd • NZXT H1• Logitech G915TKL • Logitech G Pro • Asus ROG XG32VQ • SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless

Laptop: MacBook Pro M1 512gb

This is basically the only monitor that has true 4K: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/lg-monitor-31mu97 (no I remembered Linus' video on it... lol :( )

By the time you are going to be buying one, there might be some more on the market, but if you want a but more flexibility in the functions, just lower your requirements in UHD. I mean come on it's not like you're buying a 60" display. You're barely going to notice the difference if so at all.

or...

You could get a (or should I say "the") 5K monitor. If you're all about that res and have an extra $500 to spend on it.
