New build but still need a few things. SUGGESTIONS?

I started buying components for my 1st ever build. I popped a gtx750ti into my stock HP and fell in love w computer gaming. I have bought the 4 main things so far. They are: I7 4790k, asus z97a mobo, gigabyte g1 gaming gtx 970, and g skill trident x 8 gig ddr3 2400. Im going to order the last components in a day or 2: crucial 256 ssd, a Seagate 1tb hdd, winds 8.1 64, and coolmaster 212 cpu cooler, and probably rosewill capstone 730w psu. I have about 500$ for this last order and still need a case. Pref a full atx. Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on this build? Im super excited and should order the last parts in a day or 2. Im also going to get a flash drive as I was told I need to download updates for mobo from my existing pc and flash them to mobo prior to posting. I need to research it as im unsure how that works yet. Any thoughts or suggestions are GREATLY appreciated. -Great Job!

Seems like  a nice build! 

 

Although you could have saved a few bob by getting some slower ram. Higher speeds really don't give an performance increase worth having. 

 

Seems like the rest of your build will be nice too! 

 

So fa r as cases is there anything in particular you'd like? Ie styling wise? 

 

The 750d is a really nice case, or the n600, phantom series, check some of those out!

Im trying to make a red and black themed build and maybe a white case. Im probably going to buy the corsair fan 2 pack once I have more $. For now I just want to get it up and running, ya know? :D Ohh that case IS sexy! I think a white case would look great w red and black inside. How do they get the cable custom colors? Id like to do white and red cables possibly.

Okay im going with an nzxt case. But I need a good modular psu. Pref 650-750. Ppl tell me the cx corsair series isn't good or the rosewill. any suggestions?
