Better temps with less radiators?

So I just finished building my matx watercooled rig, and I have 2x 240mm one 30mm and one 45mm, and 1x 120mm 30mm thick radiators in my case and the temps are 46'c on the graphics cards after 1.5hrs?

And in my last build I had 2x 420mm alpha cool monsta, and one 240mm monsta and the temps were 57'c after the same 1.5hrs with same components and I had 16 fans on those rads!

What is this trickery!?!?!?

Pump speed difference?  Change in thermal paste?  Im really not to sure.
