Can't get GTA V to install

In my 60gb PS3. Load this disk and it says I need to update my game and it black screens. Has anyone had this issue? How did you fix it?

I think you have to update the system itself, not the game.

Do you have enough space left of your PS3 to actually install GTA V? It does take up a hefty amount of space.
