OC Guide for fx-6300

does anyone know how to OC an FX-6300 vishera black edition on an MSI 970 Gaming motherboard to anywhere from 4.0 to 4.3 ghz? I've tried to follow other guides, but i find it difficult to use any guide with a different BIOS setup then the BIOS of the motherboard that i have.

Thanks for the help!

So with that motherboard you click on something and you use space to chance it. All I changed was the cpu core multiplyer and the voltage. And I got 4.6 at 1.48 volts

what the guy above said.

though i'd start lower just to avoid depreciating returns.

set voltage to +.2 and multi to 22 and try and boot, if you do see what voltage you get in windows.

its pretty much the same for any amd fx overclocking guide except this board doesnt have voltage input just voltage offset thankfully vdroop doesnt seem to be a problem, the voltage tends to be what you set it.

on a crosshair 5 at the moment (irrelevant) with a 1.225VID my 8320 is at 4.5ghz with 1.308v (normal, 1.284 full load)

edit-if next month you're still having problems let me know and ill walk you through when i fire up my other rig with a 970 gaming board in it.
