EK-FC Triple Serial Terminal: Flow Direction

So, I had my loop perfectly planned out. Then I pull out the instruction sheet that came with this Triple Serial Terminal and it says flow direction should be from top to bottom, well that does not work for my planned flow path. So my question is: is their instructions just a recommendation or suggestion or is there some scientific theory behind it and I must adhere to it or risk giving my system a bath??? SIDE QUESTION: My loop will include 2x 480 rads, 3x gtx970, 1x Rampage V Ext monoblock, 250ml tube res...will a single D5 Vario be enough or will I need a second somewhere in the loop?

Hi,

Like you can see in the note #2 of the step 4 in the instructions...Ports can be exchanged, meaning inlet can be used as outlet and at the same time outlet can be used as inlet.

Just be sure to use the good ports.  Not the ones with an "X" on it in step 3.

As for your D5, you will be ok.  I run 2x 360 rads, 1x 240 rad, 3x GTX780, 1x Maximus Extreme V, 1x RAM block on my D5 vario without any issues.
