im trying to figure out if my old p55 1156 i7-860 with dual sli gtx 280's is worth rebuilding or is my hp pavilion g7 with a a8-4500m apu already more powerful?

 

i posted in here because not just cpu or gpu related, its multi part related.

SLI-ing 280's with an early i7 will beat an A8-4500m.

Just put a new GPU with the i7 if you want a cheaper upgrade.

ahh thanks, wasnt sure if it be worth fixing up my old p55, its in parts at the moment the cpu cooler leaked amoung other problems it shorted out the ram. so need new cooler, ram and preferbly a ssd to get it runing agian
