PCI slot bracket mount for GPU fan

hello;

i saw this on ebay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dual-Fan-Mount-Rack-PCI-Slot-Bracket-for-Video-Card-DIY-/251622181041

they are basically brackets to hold fan to blow air into the gpu.

i have a stock cooler (rear exhaust blower type) gpu and was wondering if getting one of these will help improve temps ? any thoughts about this as well?

i was thinking of mounting a corsair AF120 static pressure fan (just one) to blow air right on the gpu heat sink and the front blower will help exhaust the air.

Doesn't look like there's too much support on the fans, metal brackets that small can only do much. Personally, I'd put money into an after market cooler if you need to improve temps. I have a Radeon HD 6950 right now that could nearly boil water under load, so I'm looking at an aftermarket solution instead of just throwing small amounts of money next to it to in the *hopes* that it works. I'd rather go with something with a larger guarantee that it works.

forgot to mention i already bought the bracket it self and its made out of metal (pretty strong actually)

would require quit a bit for force to see if it bends

This looks good, I might buy this and if I end up doing so, I will tell you what kind of results I get.  The only problem is, I have 1 fan, so I wont get 100% performance out of this

im planning to also use a single fan,

make sure you get the 120 mm size one, and also i kind of wish i gave my card a look before ordering this, it has like a plastic thingy on the heat sink (didnt realize tha till i ordered) but then again it was like 5 or something dollars.
