Heatsink for Socket LGA 1150

MasterOfHeart

Hi, I am trying to find a good aftermarket heatsink that is compatible with the LGA 1150 socket. Thanks to anyone that replys in advance. I know about the CM 212 Evo; but want to know if thats really a good option, or if i should get a better one. If you have an idea for a better heatsink(Both performance and price) that fits in a 500R, i would love to hear it. (I am new to computers so please take it easy on me xD)

CPU:

If you OC the i5 the 212 could become a problem but for 30$ its a good Cooler and should be good until you reach 4.5 I guess

that depends on how much you want to spend on a cooler...

the hyper 212 evo for $30 is much better than the stock cooler, but the NH-D14 for $80 is much better than the 212 evo

Do you have any sort of budget? Like others have said the Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO is a great cooler for cheap but if you want to spend more for a quieter and cooler experience the Noctua NH-D14 or the Be Quiet Dark Rock 3 are great coolers for about $70-100 depending on where you live and what deals you can get.

We need budget first. There are so many options in different price ranges that saying 212 is not enough, need better is not enough information.
