Help with cloning a HDD.

One of my 1TB HDDs is failing and needs to be replaced under warranty. I want to keep my data so I want to clone the drive onto my other 1TB HDD. There is more than enough room on my second HDD to accommodate the data on the main HDD. My question is however, can you clone a HDD to another drive without losing any data from the drive you are cloning to?
