Locked Out Of My Own Laptop

Ok so...

I have a Samsung RF511 laptop and im locked out. I was my main compuiter for a long time and i wanted to factory reset it so i could use it for something else. I was unable to factory reset it correctly because that backup seems to have an issue, but i ended up reseting it back to a backup that happened the same day i bought the laptop.

My issue is that there is a password lock on the computer and i have no idea what the password is.

How can i either change the password or bypass the password and also how do i factory reset the laptop?????

Many Thanks

Try Konboot to bypass it. It works for win7 but not sure about 8 or 8.1.

Edit: Works for 8 and 8.1 in the latest version although it is paid software now unlike in the past. Just torrent it really and us it once.

What you can do is: boot into a Kali Linux live usb and use the chntpw utility to either change it or brute force the solution.

Here's a guide on how to do that: http://moinkhans.blogspot.com.au/2013/10/removing-windows-os-passwords-with.html
