I built a new computer and its really slow and glitchy

nightmare_Vg

Ive done a total of about 3 fresh installs and the OS still is slow gitchy and unresponsive

Hyper 212

AMD FX 8350

Gigabyte 970A-UD3P

Corsair CX 600 Builder

G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB ram 1600 mhz

Seagate Barracuda 1tb (old drive) 7200 rpm I suspect that this is the culprit

corsair 200r

what should I do? Should I just buy a new hard drive and make the new one WD?

also there is a possibility that the mother board could have an old bios from the factory but i doubt it

slow load times don't make it old school, it just makes it slow. You're on a mechanical drive are you trying to start chrome right after you hit the desktop?

I let the computer sit for a couple minutes, but still its 3-5 seconds to launch chrome  would a mechanical drive be that slow? sorry for my bad comparison

It is an old hard drive or a newer one, if its older the read/write speeds may be slow

I somewhat imagine that it can be due to the harddrive, how old is it in this case?

I'm fairly certain it's the hard drive.
