In response to today's video, YES I want info on stock vs. aftermarket air cooling. Especially for non-oc'd CPUs.

Welp, any decent tower cooler (DarkRock Pro 2/3, NH-D15 etc.) wrecks any stock cooler.

 

Also about every review of an aftermarket cooler has it compared with the stock one.

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

You mean this http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/318317-intel-vs-amd-stock-cpu-coolers/? I can tell you right now that aftermarket will be quieter. And somewhat cooler but if that isn't important to you (stock does what its meant to do), then noise and looks are only reasons for buying one.

 

I don't know (or rather haven't checked) much about AMDs pricing, but Intel's stock cooler is worth ~$15. You get this by comparing boxed and tray packed processors.
