Higher DPI for 144?

Hey guys,

So for the past 9 years I have been using my Logitech MX500. But lately I had to increase the sens on all my games to the max, because it felt too slow.

I am upgrading from a 17" 1080p to the Asus Swift. And I was thinking of getting the G400, since it is the same shape I have been using for over 13 years, but the DPI is only 4000.

Will that low level be affected or noticeable as opposed to what I am used to?

Nope, you will realize what unfortunately not enough people do. That 4000 dpi (even 3200 dpi) is still insanely high for many applications albeit gaming or just using your computer.

I went from a 1080p screen to 4k and didn't touch a thing. I have my dpi set to about 1800-2400. I like it on the low side for competitive fps. I noticed no difference in my overall mouse use when I made the monitor change.

2400?!?! thats a high dpi for competitive fps! i have mine at 800dpi and gonna move down to 400dpi

I play at 550dpi.

How do u guys play like that lol. I always had mine close to the max, and in game always at 90%.

Guess I am so lazy I don't want to move my wrist much.

I use 800dpi at 1440p, takes a good 2 wrist flicks to do a 360, but its extremely accurate

I agree with this completely. It feels really strange at first but once you get used to it, its SO much better. It also forces you to have much better habits in pre-aiming htings instead of relying on your flick-shooting.

yeah you got me I quoted mine without checking. its actually 750 and 1200 are my 2 seeing for different games. if i press the Sniper button on my mouse it drops to 400.

the ones I quoted originally was the ones I used before I knew lower was better lol
