Can i run 3 monitors?

Hello everyone!

 

I just bought myself another GL2460 from BenQ, because i like my windows spread across multiple monitors. But after getting used to the 2x 24" screens, im starting to want a third screen too.

However, i havent really been able to answer the question if i can run 3 monitors on my own.

 

I have 2 BenQ GL2460 mointors, want a third.

My GFX card is a AMD  Radeon HD5970 Black Edition (It got 2 GPU's)

Im currently using both DVI ports, and there is a free MiniDisplayPort.

Note:
I do know that my setup is old and all. But im usually just programming etc. and gaming once in a while. The 3 monitors are for when im doing web-based development (A lot faster to have my IDE on one screen, page on other and then a 3rd to find resources (folders, w3schools etc.))

Grab a mini displayport to DVI/VGA/HDMI and it's alright (I would suggest DVI)

 

(By the way, I have one GL2460 too, love the display :D )

yes, just use an adapter for your displayport to use it on whatever you need. if either of your current monitors use displayport than use dp on that and switch the others
