Next PC Case

Brony2012

Hello all. My current computer is running on its fifth year and is due for an upgrade. I was curious as to which case I should get next. I will most likely be upgrading the case, power supply, motherboard, and processor. I have looked into all sort of cases but am curious as to what you all think. Water cooled or air colled, it is all the same to me as long as the case is somewhat quiet and a large tower to fit multiple graphics cards. I have no real budget, just looking for opinions. Thanks.

i've been really digging my define r5, its an amazingly quiet case, and i'm pretty happy about the cable management options.

I love my windowed R5, it loses some sound proofing for the window but it looks great.  If you need more than 2 5.25" drive bays or want to water cool/AIO with a 240mm radiator, the BeQuiet is probably better but it is bigger than the R5 for sure.

If you get the R5, I highly recommend putting a second 140mm fan in the front.  I took the stock rear fan and moved it to the front and then put an H80 in the rear exhaust spot.  Doesn't cool any better than an air cooler but looks nicer in my opinion.  Th H80 is by far the loudest thing in my case, fine at idle but when it ramps up it is loud, I need to replace the stock fans to try and quiet it eventually.

if you want all the room you are ever likely to need, and plenty of support for water cooling,

Thermaltake Core X9.

Been trying to push that case for a while, I want to see some ridiculous build logs of it in the workbench area soon lol
