Light software for local backups (from 1 drive to another)

I want to backup things from my main drive to

1. my SSD

and 2. my second HDD.

 

I want a light process to do it for me periodcily in the background.

 

What are the options?

CPU: Ryzen 2600 GPU: RX 6800 RAM: ddr4 3000Mhz 4x8GB  MOBO: MSI B450-A PRO Display: 4k120hz with freesync premium.

I was hoping for more answers then just one person to rely upon.

What happens if the source dies and the backup task is set to mirror? will it delete eveyrhting in the destinaiton becaus eit cannot find it on the source?
