I always liked the size and portability of it.

Struck a good balance between battery life, comfort, graphics quality and durability for me

I like the new DS line, but man I love the older DS's

(EDIT) Forgot about the Gameboy Lineup!! Awesome handhelds :)

I have GameBoy (x2), GameBoy pocket, Color, Advance, Advance SP, DS Lite, 3DS. :D

 

I have a GB Color, used to have an SP, a DSLite on the way from eBay (My inspiration for this topic) and I sold my 3ds as I detested the 3d

Although x&y was a pretty great game

I loved the original fatty DS, but the DS lite was my favourite because of the improved screen brightness yet it had all the same features as well as being smaller so more portable. I couldn't stand the matte finish on the DSi and the 3D features of the 3DS are wasted on me, yet I don't want a 2DS due to liking the hinge mechanism, even if it's the biggest weak point (the one on my DS lite no longer locks into place)

isnt the standard 3ds the same size as a ds lite?

The DS Lite was the best (so many special editions :rolleyes: ), but so was the GBA SP. This is a difficult decision.
