gtx 780 performance question

NL-skillz-NL
Go to solution Solved by ShadowCaptain,

hello,

i was just wondering if my 780 can run tripple monitors in surround with a 4th above them somewherefor the quad, since it has 2xdvi hdmi and DP port.

im just worried im going to cutdown the performance drasticly using the 4th screen.

soo, yay or nay?

thanks

Yes, though gaming in surround on  single 780 wont give you amazing performance in most games

the 4th screen will make no difference to performance

I think if you use the HDMI port you cant use one of the DVI ports and vice versa... At least thats how it works on my card

okay thanks, i dont tend to game tripple screen because of the fov of my position to the monitors so that wont be an issue.

the DP port is your saving grace for multi monitor solutions, so it certainly wont.

Do you currently have a nvidia gpu? the <=2 monitors across dvi/vga/hdmi might

be an amd thing. Although that sounds pretty strange...
