"best" $500 super future upgradeable consol destroyer build

jdmilion

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/jdmilion/saved/7MpWGX

No the power supp isnt 80+ bronze, but it glows blue and it works.

Azza sirius atx mid tower is an AMAZING case in terms of build quality and features for only around $50.

There is really no better than the asrock extreme3 for the value and price with 4 way crossfire and sli, and ,due to the z97 chipset, it is MASSIVLY upgradable with multiple i3's and i5's. Also because it is z97 you can overclock very well.

The CPU i chose because it is truely the best chip for this price range. Not only does it come with a beefed up heatsink, but it can be overclocked to more than 4.5 gHz!! And due to the beefed up stock heatsink, low heat output, and good thermals, you can get as high as 3.7 gHz with the stock heatsink.

The RAM choice is 8 gb corsair vengeance 1600 mHz, it is a very good RAM and it is blue.

The gpu choice was the EVGA geforce gtx 750ti, for only around $120 this card has very very good temps, and it runs off of the pcie connection so there is no need for a 4 pin power connector, and it requires minimal power. It also has the benifets of all of nvidias features, and comes with a good cooler, and $150 worth of extras.

For storage i went with a 7200rpm hitachi 1tb hard drive, but, just go for the cheapest 7200rpm 1tb hard drive that you can find, altough i would stick with either hitachi, western digital, or seagate.

If you didn't already order the parts...

Please, please, please, don't get that psu. (you'd also be better off with a locked i5 + h81 board)

P.s. that board supports 2-way SLI, not 4-way, and a 750Ti can't be SLI'd anyway.

Well worth the extra $50: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/dVCJ23

And if that extra $50 isn't possible: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/zJRBYJ

While I dont really care if you are using the psu if you know the risks(or just stubborn), other people dont know better. so, when you say that its a good psu, we jump in to say otherwise.

ok, we know that. but there are better things for the money if you have a budget.

Why are you so ignorant? The PSU can die, take your whole system with it or kill certain parts and you're more worried about not having LED lights? And go with a WD Blue HDD.
