Can I get 4k freesync or g-sync gaming projector?

TJPC

with 4k coming and coming fast Id like to put in a request for a projector meeting or exceeding these spec?

Why?

see attached!

I run a PC Ill set on the couch using a PS4 controller I used to play on a PS4 but it couldn't power the projector I wanted more detail in the games.

Also why can't PC's run games in 7.1 or 9.1 I can only get my PC to 5.1 then use the receiver to upscale to 9.2 where the PS4 can do 7.1?

But seriously 4k projector with g-sync or (upcoming Freesync)

I don't think it would really matter quality wise for projectors, it doesn't have a real panel except for the white screen. Although for entertainment, projectors are superb, gaming? If your main concern is how good the graphics are, just go for a TV.

Welcome to the forums and damn nice setup!

Amazon.com: JVC 4K Home Theater Projector - DLAX500R: Electronics

This is the cheapest 4K projector that I could find.

Ive looked at this but its a Theatre Projector ant its dark at 1300 lumens I had to upgrade to a 5,000 lumen projector because the old 2,000 lumen projector was too dark for me.

also thats a 1080P projector it uses weird cheating ways to get 4k

It is attractive indeed. The rest that I found were about $10,000 or more.

As of right now I don't know of any projector that has Gsync never mind freesync, but as freesync is open to all for free I can imagine that someone has it in the works. PS Nice set up.

ummm e-shift doesnt support native 4k.

The new models do accept 4K inputs. They do lack HEVC decoding and HDCP 2.2 support though.

e-shift?

4K E-Shift Models do not have a UHD native resolution. They overlap 4 1080p segments per frame one at a time (shifted by 50% of a pixel's width/height) to give the effect of 4K resolution (your brain combines the 4 images together, like how our brains combine the red/green/blue images from a DLP projector.

E-Shift also introduces a lot of input lag, making it unsuitable for fast-paced games. Bright 4K projectors are expensive, so it might be easier to invest in a high gain screen if you keep the light down anyway (granted that you're not sensitive to hot spots).

The Sony VPL-VW300ES is only rated for 1500 lumens for example. Input lag is very low for this projector, so you should be able to game with it.

This guy knows

I wouldn't use an E-shift Im hoping tech will improve with projectors the "Sony short throw 4k" is a nice idea but sooooo much money. Or Or if we can get 125'' 4k led or OLED

Nvidia and AMDs GPUs should both be able to passthrough 7.1 audio to your receiver via HDMI...
