New Dslr/ High end camera

I have a good basic understanding of cameras and have decided to buy a Dslr. As my uncle is a sports photographer for cricket Ireland lenses are not a problem at all.

so scanning reviews of Dslrs nikon seemed to be the best bet and i decided that either the d3300 or the d5200 was the best option but because of the price i was almost ready to buy the d3300, when i came across a video a man promoting sony cameras and after realizing the low light performance i looked further but as the lens kit is pretty bad with the a6000 i looked into getting a prime lens but to my surprise they are extremely expensive even for the most basic so i set about finding an adapter so i could use my uncles lenses. from a quick google search i found that the adapters ranged from £15 to £115

So inshort i really want the a6000 because of the 11fps but if the lens adapter ruin the quality i would have to settle with the nikon

I will use it for sports photography so a high mm lens will be required

First post aswell so dont be too harsh

you wont have any auto focus if you use an nikon lense with an adapter on an a6000. What exactly are you trying to do with the camera because i doubt you will make use of that 11 fps rate unless you are trying to do the same thing as your uncle. The only sony camera i would consider is the a7 which is quite a bit more expensive than what you are looking at.

I'd get the d3300 as it does have faster autofocus than the a6000 which I would just get anyways...

This may or may not help, but it might

I wouldn't use Snapsort as a means to compare cameras, especially since most cameras cant be compared using a paper spec sheet. These two cameras are apples and oranges.

Do you have a store near you where you can test out both cameras?
