take the fans off and check for dust on the fans and the radiator.

make sure the fans are running at 100%.

try removing the cpu block cleaning off all thermal paste from the cold plate and the IHS and reapplying thermal paste.

Wow! that's really bad. I can only think of 2 possible reasons. The being the most likely, that there is a fault with the pump block and it isn't actually circulating the water properly. Or, there could be an obstruction on the fin array causing the water to resist from moving. Check the screw mounts that the fin array hasn't been damaged.

Does the pump make a grinding sound (or can you hear an low audible noise from the pump block??)

A long shot, question, but. Do you have the stock heatsink (or possibly get your hands on an air cooler heatsink. This can determine whether the fault is cause by the H100i or a possible fault with the CPU.

I still think it's likely the H100i has some sort of fault, but just to make sure that everything is fine on the CPU side  ^_^ .

I personally would go down this road, just to rule the factor out of the equation. Unless someone else can think of an alternative way round to figure out what the problem is. I can't confidently determine what the specific fault is.

You could try updating the firmware of the H100i if you haven't already. I have my H100i pump RPM divider set to "four". Also, try it with the side panel off. I can't imagine the case airflow being a problem, but it's another factor to rule out of the equation.

you hear water when you shake your rad?? that could mean theres air in your loop and could be whats causing your problem. i would contact corsair and tell them you think you have air in your loop and they might send you a replacement, unless you tried to take yours apart or something...

I know that IVY had some issues temp wise and some people de lid there CPU and re applied thermal. Honestly, what I would do is purchase stronger fans possibly something like noctua NF-12's. They are kind of expensive but probably the best you can buy really. Also what does the rest of your case's cooling situation look like I remember the Corsair 600T (your case)  I had it for a day and the thermal situation was pretty awful.

Also, you may want to re apply your TIM. If you don't have some perhaps purchase some. I know linus uses IC Diamond. Which isn't cheap either. I have but didn't pay 30 dollars for it like NCIX is requesting. Also remember only a pea size amount you don't want to over due it.

I have the same case with OC 2700k (SB) and my idle temps are ~30 with load never going over 70.
Your stock cooler seems to be doing fine, so it is probably the H100i cooler at fault?
It could be a bad mount or the H100i is not working properly.

When you put on your backplate behind the motherboard with the screws in, is it loose?
If it is, you can use rubber washers to make it tighter. I did this and my temps fell by like 10 degrees.

I get very similiar temps to that of arodrake with my 2500k. lowest point is 29 C highest is 35 C at idle nothing more then 65 however mid 70's in a stress test but mainly due to my overclock at 4.2 ghz and the voltage of 1.25v
