Freezing on asus screen

A couple days ago I built this https://pcpartpicker.com/b/PGM8TWand have had many issues. The one I'm having now and have been having ever since I built it is, sometimes the pc will get stuck on the asus logo where it says press f2 or escape and the only way to fix it is to hit the reset button. The only things I have plugged in are my keyboard (k70 rgb) and mouse (Madcatz rat7).

 

I've done my share of google searches and nothing has helped. My bios settings are default.

Seems to be bios related

related. Update your bios, that should help.

try resetting cmos (helped for me even when the motherboard was with factory settings)

Mobo - Asus Maximus VI Formula ; Ram - Kingston HyperX Fury 1866mhz CL10 16GB ; CPU - Intel i7 4790K ;

GPU - Gainward RTX 2070 Phantom ; PSU - Corsair RM750x ; Cooler - CM Hyper 212 EVO
