Extreme Low Budget Gaming build

tezza192
I am on an absolute shoe string budget as I have very little spare cash, I maxed my budget and scrimped whatever I could together -  I either bought cheap or used. For those asking why I didn't get the G3258 I literally didnt have the money, will potentially upgrade in the future.  Everything was the cheapest I could get, I think this is a good demonstration of what can be done for very little money.

*Case - Some POS MATX case  from the local PC shop - ex display -  £15

*MB- Cheapest Intel 1150 board on amazon - Asrock H81 - £30

*Intel G3220 CPU - £39

*Video Card - used reference 7870  from Gumtree (UKs craigslist) - £55

*RAM - 4gb Hyper X 1600mhz - £24 (will eventually get 8gb)

*80mm Fan - £3

*HDD - 500gb 7200rpm drive salvaged from broken laptop  £20 from local PC shop

*OCZ 550 watt 80+bronze PSU - £28 ebay

*Windows 8.1 Genuine Licence from Reddit Microsoft Software Swap - £15

CD/DVD writer - I actually had this in a drawer from a previous build. - £0

Total Cost - £229

Damn son. For that little that's a hella nice build.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Alright, sweet little build!

The awkward moment when people have a better gaming build than you, while they say it an "extreme low budget" build  :(
