4k tv and having refresh problems with Ps4

I just recently bought a 4k tv the Sony XBR55x800b.. The video looks amazing and everything but Im having one little problem.. While playing on the ps4 I have noticed that the refresh rate is really bad?? I know that games on consoles arnt 4k and I dont have the 4k upscaling turned on while gaming?? Just runs everything at 1080p but still having refresh issues.. could this be the HDMI cable i have?? Or whats wrong???

The HDMI cable only goes up to 60Hz... could that be the reason??

Anyway, what refresh rate is the TV I'm pretty sure that a PS4 doesn't support 144hz and since games will never run at anything above 60 FPS it doesn't really matter, the cable most likely isn't the issue. What refresh rate is the TV currently running at?

The TV currently runs at 120hz

This is only the panel not the frame rate which is transmitted over HDMI

Turn the gaming mode on otherwise the frame creation introduces high latency, stutter and artifacts.

I have turned on the gaming mode but still can see the motion blur of the games

Because no matter the refresh rate, the games will run at exactly the same smoothness then if they were on a 60hz TV, because the frames per second would have to be 120, most games run at 30 frames per second so even if it were a 30hz TV you wouldn't see any difference
