Oscilloscope Computer Case

Hi all.

Long time reader first time poster.

First case mod I've attempted, very happy with how it turned out.
Done over 3 weeks.

It was / is a Hewlett Packard Model 150A Oscilloscope manufactured on the 28 - 8 - 1958. (so said the circuit boards)
I found it on Ebay.  :D
I originally wanted a vintage military radio but this was to perfect to pass up.
It was never going to run again (the cathode ray tube wasn't in working condition and it was missing a lot of the power supply parts), so all of the tubes and boards were listed on a few vintage radio sites saying that they were free to a good home, the majority of which have been collected.

Bits installed: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/dN4cjX
It was basically just a case swap.
I still want to repaint the outside shell and get some more case lights.

Feed back is appreciated.  :D

(You'll see specks of glitter like stuff on top of the power supply and graphics cards, don't worry its all been cleaned up)

  • 2 weeks later...

Looks amazing!  :D

I would hook up some of the switches on the front as power switches, fan controllers or similar.

Also maybe mod a 5.25" bay LCD to fit in that front display?
