League of Legends keeps crashing

I hope this is the right section. This error only occours while actively playing League of Legends. I allready repaired and reinstalled the game and my GPU drivers. Completely randomly the screen turns black for 3 - 5 seconds after that the game either crashes and I have to end the process via task manager or it turns back to normal. This happens 1 - 3 time per game. Temps of my GPU, CPU, Motherboard, HDD never exceed 50°C. Dont know if that is important buy my GPU driver version is the most recent 14.12

 

My System:
CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965
Cpu-Fan: Zalman CNPS 9900
RAM: 8Gb/1600 of corsair 
Motherboard: ASRock M3A790GXH/128M
Grapic: AMD Radeon 5770 ---> got updated to a Sapphire R9 280 OC Dual - X
HDD: WD 500GB
Sound: Soundblaster Z
PSU: Thermaltake Berlin 630 Watt

I have no clue what to do and at this point I am going crazy. I bought a new GPU because of this problem but it keeps comming back.

Not really. I found another thread on this forum with the same problem with a 280. The guy never responded but someone linked him to a LoL forum thread where a bunch of people were having similar issues on multiple GPU's and about half of them said this solved it.

Well I dont know why but it has worked for me so far. Not the solution I was hoping for but thank you anyways =)

Yeah I must admit its not very elegant but at least you can play.

maybe the next catalyst drivers will fix it.
