you dont mod a sega megadrive or ps1, it's simply not done..

noone cares about the rest, xbox's and more modern consoles were meant to be modded, they certainly wasn't built to play games.

I don't have many ideas for the others, but I'm partial to the look of this mod I did to my xbox original years ago.225408_1928082315596_5151597_n.jpg?oh=81

It requires removing the center jewel and polishing off the green paint and painting it black. Removing the front panel and top and masking the areas to be left unpainted and spraying it with three coats of white krylon fusion. Of course internally this machine is rocking xbmc and a 500GB HDD.

 

There's also this really cool tool which lets you preview different paint jobs on the original xbox.

Why don't you try and make a real "Sonic - The Headghog" version of the megadrive?
I personally really like the "game-themed" consoles and the mods they did to the N64 .....
