Well, That depends on all the systems that person is folding on.

Some fold on 1 machine, Some fold on multiple machines, and others I'm sure are running data centers within there house.

For me, I'm doing 0 ppd (PPD = points per day) as i've turn off my machines for the summer.

If i was folding normally, I could be getting about 10K ppd with my core I7 920 (stock and not running 24/7. It does other things besides folding) and about 1k PPD with my Lenovo 3000 N200 laptop with a Pentium T2390 cpu. (My first folding computer).

start using beta WUs, you could get massively more ppd with that setup.

Some WU's will not net you very many points, and folding only a few days a week for a few hours will affect your PPD quite a bit. Let it run for a while though - you will notice it change as you get different WU's and such. Also, the CPU's don't get a whole lot of WU's... most of the points will be from you graphics card...

I get about 10k on my 8320 and 30k on my 7770. Hopefully I can get my 280x soon to boost that ppd.

I just started folding a few days ago on my laptop.  i7 2640M and I am about 500 ppd.  I'm not even scratching the surface compared to most, but at least I'm contributing.

I'm about to start a new build that when I finish should rack up the points: 5960X (overclocked) with 2 GALAX GTX 980 HOFs . . .
