Baraka, Samsara?

x2. I know Samsara was shot on 70mm film, I can't remember if Baraka was as well.

That's what boggles me the most; lugging all that film and gear to those locations. It's not like 70mm cameras are small. So jealous, but not, at the same time..haha.

if you like documentaries, check out 'Manufactured Landscapes' as well. It follows the photographer Edward Burtynsky on his travels photographing man-made landscapes.

Screw 70mm cameras lol. The IMAX cams shot 70mm and they were almost 230 lbs. Image the kind of gear you would need to lug around to even shoot with one. I love them though. The image they produce is very unique and always a pleasure to look at.

29dvloj.jpg  David Attenborough's Natural History Museum Alive is fascinating, uses 3D Computer Generated Images of extinct animals and skeletons.

I also recommend Disney's Up, James Bond Skyfall, Planet Earth...

"Have you tried turning it off and on again?"
