RadicalMods

I just need something for browsing, no gaming. I can't decide.

I like how Windows works more and don't really like OSX.

I would go for Windows (although you worded this  question wrong..)

Why not a $200 chromebook or HP stream....

THIS IS MY SUPER TEENY TINY SIGNATURE!

Ain't it just the cutest little signature.

Some would argue it is the cutest little signature ever.

The Surface, please.

The Mac isn't bad at all, but a TN panel with meh viewing angles and colors along with underwhelming speakers is a deal-breaker.

I wouldn't recommend either for what you are doing. Try the base XPS 13 2015, or the Asus Ultrabook.

For browsing? Man, no need to spend 1100 bucks :) get an asus t100ta, it's more than enough for any amounts of browsing you'd want to do (unless you're like Linus and use 8gb+ of ram simply by opening multiple tabs...)

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Feel like there are equally good options for what you're looking for at a lower price. That and a fairer comparison to the Surface would be the MBP when it comes to price.

  • 1 month later...

I have the Surface Pro 2. It is amazing and it is perfect for me, but I think you should get something like a cheap ultrabook or a chromebook.
