Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.1 Corinthians 13:4

combining gsync with ulmb is the only thing that would be worth that statement, which would certainly make the expensive gsync module worth it, but i doubt it... prob a huge let down inc

also, do you kids really think a new gpu is what they mean with "redefining the future of gaming"?...  im sad for the inside of your heads then

I'm still waiting for that too but sadly I don't think it falls into the 5 years in the making category :(

G-Sync 2.0

Their own virtual reality glasses.

Maybe a graphics card.

That's my prediction. :D

G-sync on mobiles will be officially announced I'd say. Since the leak mostly. But maybe G-sync on SHIELD or some shit as well? L

How can you RE define something that hasn't even been defined yet? i.e. the future?

Maybe he means "redfine the current speculations we have towards what the future of gaming MAY be like"

Let me guess: GTX Titan 2 To Ultra Black Edition Z? And it will cost $5000, $1000 for every year of development. Cynicism asside, I'm excited for what it could be though.

I wonder how many people are gonna ask if it's to reveal a GTX 980Ti. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Ladies and Gentlemen,  with 5 years of planning and engineering, we bring you,  the GTX 980 TI!!!

TITAN II here we go!!!

We knew 5 years ago that the Titan Z would be a success, so we have already engineered the Titan 2 right behind it!

If one is send to android police, it has to be something mobile related. Or they are planning multiple product releases.

Probably a Shield Tablet 2, the Tegra series is just over 5 years old.

I hope, because I want a X1 powered Shield Tablet with 4GB of RAM (the X1 is 64-bit, right?), 64GB of storage, a qHD display (quarter HD, none of this silly Quad HD) QHD OLED screen at 8", a new DirectStylus 3 and reduced bezels for $349. (No LTE)

Or the above with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 1080p LCD IPS 8" display, a new DirectStylus 3 and reduced bezels for $299 (no LTE).

I just hope they keep LTE and storage pricing seperate this year.

Well, if the past 5 years has taught me anything about official hype designed by some marketing department, its that I will be left disappointed regardless of what I expect. At this point it might as well be the Nvidia Shield Z powered by an APU that was shot out of a rail-gun on the moon and the impact crater will look like Reggie Fils-Amie. Or perhaps a green and black pencil sharpener with cuda acceleration.

I'm beginning to think it's Nvidia Grid and it's them announcing their partners.

I don't know how successful it'll be since we're still running on ancient Internet speeds in America.

"redefine gaming"? Please no proprietary crap that only Nvidia users can use.

Honestly I'm fed up with Nvidia's shit about not having any open source projects.

If something is going to redefine gaming, it better fucking work for everyone who games.

The first step to insanity is believing in your sanity.

What would you all do if Nvidia and Intel just jointly developed a super optimized game engine and released cheap dev kits for it?

"PhysX didn't work"

"3D Vision didn't work"

"Our competitor did G-sync better" (?)

"Gameworks only exists to make games run poorly on our older video cards and AMD's video cards and offers no visual benefit."

What will the minds of Nvidia think of next?

Forgot Tegra/Shield.
