Looking for a 800 Gaming Laptop.

CurlyCucumber

I previously posted about a 700 dollar moderate gaming laptop, and the Lenovo y40 looks promising. I'm just curious on what I could get for 800-900 dollars.

The ASUS ROG Laptops look nice, but are very expensive.

The MSI ones look good too, but again, are expensive.

And Alienware... *shiver*... well, it's Alienware. Who buys that junk?

Like I said previously, I may sound like a dooface here, but I'm not very familiar with mobile graphics/cpus. Could someone help me out on a decent gaming laptop within that price range?

Games I'd be playing:

TF2

Gmod

Skyrim

Minecraft (Modded, and yes, I know. It's Minecraft.)

CS:GO

World of Tanks

The MSi ones aren't too expensive for gaming laptops. The thing is, laptops that have decent specs can't be considered gaming laptops. IMO what makes a gaming laptop is decent specs and a good cooling system.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Eh m8, I would just work up to the 1000$ laptops from there. that 200$ extra will make a world of a difference now adays.... But if you really just want to game now, any of the msi/asus laptops on newegg would do fine aslong as they have a "geforce" graphics card and have a decent rating. MSI & Asus usually doesn't tend to scam people as much as other laptop brands.....

This would be the best bet for your budget.

get a lenovo y510p

“It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.”
