will a replica car model damage PC components?

Hey guys, so i say someone's build and he put a car in there, and it makes me want to put a car in my build, question is can it damage components? (short them out etc, not physically damage them) I was thinking 1:24 scale yellow and black mustang or something along those lines, and maybe put LED strips in the car to make the front headlights/lamps light up. Also, i have a Carbide Air 540, so room aint no problem!

it wont be a problem as long as you dont let it touch the mobo ;D

If you get an all plastic car you should be fine. Its only metal parts you should be worried about.

Just make sure it doesn't have a fender bender.

 

This is outside the realm of tech really. but most jury rigged applications that need to isolate components electrically either use amalgamating tape, or a product called sikaflex. Both are electrically resistant. In your case I'd recommend mounting your car with sikaflex. all you need is a 20 dollar tube, and a goo gun.
