really anything, you will want to get an external audio interface tho if ur doing alot of audio work

I don't think you need a special laptop for audio. Just use whatever and hook up a USB audio interface.

Multitrack is different, i'm assuming that it's for a live performance?

Many people go Apple for their software, but there are equivalent applications on Windows. As per a specific laptop, it doesn't matter - audio is not difficult to process now-a-days.

i do see alot of apple products being used for multitracks even ipads are common, it really depends on the software you want to use
