G930 or G35

xxibgdrgn

Hello :)

My headset just recently broke and i'm looking for a new one and i am stuck on the G930 and G35. What's the difference between the two and which one is better?
And my current headset is from razer.

Neither, headsets suck except for a few, like the hyperX clouds, audiotechnica, sennhiesers, beyerdynamics.

Most people would recommend a seperate mic and headphones. What is your budget?

wireless vs wired. word of advice from an owner of g35, don`t get it. the headset is heavy the cable is ridiculously stiff and it has a few more technical problems. get the hyperx clouds or wait till february for the hyperx cloud 2s.

I love my G930's, pretty sure they're the best value you can get for wireless, but if you don't want wireless, any decent headphones + modmic will probably be better.

I see lot's of people hating on bOth.

i own 930s and i LOVE them. I'd buy them again and again. for gaming (mainly csgo) they are just brilliant! And i prefer them over my dt880 every day.

Built quality is actually very solid if you dont throw them around.

930 are also beTter than 35 imho.

Wireless is generally awesome!

But yes they are heavy and yes you'll get used to it.

I can't speak for the g930 but never NEVER buy the G35, you will regret it. I've read the reviews and decided to ignore the many complaints of the build quality.

I bought the g35, and regretted it. It broke on me after 3 months (a lot worse than the picture below). I then bought audiophile grade headphones and a seperate mic, and I will never go back to gaming headsets.

Do not buy the g35 as it will break on you, has a lot of driver issues with voip (teamspeak, mumble) and the sound quality is trash. The headset is simply not worth the money at all. You have been warned.

I recommend the Sennheiser HD 518 or 558 with a seperate mic. (AntLion Modmic 4.0 or any desktop mic depending on your budget)

you need to be careful with this if you really want one, a friend of mine had two of them, they both broke at the headband, he then bought the pc 350 from sennheiser and is happy ever after.

If one does not fail at times, then one has not challenged himself.
