Is there a market for used GPUs?

I've got a couple used GPUs that I've got lying around but I have no idea if people buy them or not, checked Ebay and it looks like a decent market with solid %s though.

They're both immaculate, went right back into the box after being used in the system for a while.

One is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 TI that I had for about 2 years and the other is a Power Color R9 280 that I've had for a couple months, not sure if these cards are resellable at all. (it looks like 75 for the 560 and 120 for the 280 is about where they go used)

You can probably sell it on any re-sale website, like eBay, or sell on classified on this website.

I may be wrong here, but interjecting I'd say probably not. Used on something with a limited life like that, you don't know how much they have been used. Cars have an Odometer but GPUs? No dice.

I personally wouldn't buy used.

The projects never end in my line of work.

Yup, I'd recommend eBay or the Classifieds section of the forum.

I've never bought/sold anything on there, but there's a ton of people that do so I'd assume so.

I imagine you won't have any trouble selling that R9 280. It's still an awesome midrange card.

Turns out I was wrong! Sorry for the misinformation!

I love the classifieds. bought a 7950 and a asus wifi adapter off the forums, and a 7970 off of ebay.

You mind giving some details on how the classifieds worked? Seems like its just a Craigslist on LTT Forums.

Seems like no matter how old something you have is its always better then something someone has now so if its a solid jargain they2520will waKt it. I always sell locally because I like cash and a handshake. I just a few days ago sold 2 Filco boards that I honestly%520didn&%39;t tink would sell because its not a brand well known unles< you arin the2520enthusiast crowd. Always like minded nerds no matter where you live, just got to give them a reason to leave moms basement.&nbs;

Sell online if no local deal is found.

exactly like craigslist on LTT. I trust fellow techies that have been a long term member of this site vs some random dude on craigslist. Unless you can meet in person. but If its over the internet, it just feels better when its someone from the same community.

So is Classifieds done through Paypal? I assume its tough to find somebody near you, might be safer to just sell them on Ebay, with only 30 posts I doubt people will pay first and there's no way I'm shipping them out without being payed ya know? Seems hard to regulate.

 yes and eh, Id mostly likely trust it. as long as your part of the community it helps. if anything horrid happens the mods/forum will help you out. I had no issues buying parts, and a lot of the higher up members and mods use the classifieds. I wish more people did, always looking for gpus and other cheap stuff.
