SlingTV, Is this the end for traditional cable?

Introduction 

          So SlingTV is a Over The Top Internet service, Owned by Dish Network. It was announced at CES 2015 and Invite started going out Tuesday January 27th to select customers. At this time it is 20 dollars for 12 Neilsan rated top viewed channels in the U.S.

 

Availability

          SlingTV is slated to launch sometime in the coming weeks. However you can sign up to be invited early. SlingTV will be a single stream services that can stream to compatible devices. The invite service however is super spotty and slow as customers have to be put on a waiting list, which itself moves slowly because to sign up you have to call them and they only have so many representatives.
