Will i need more fans?

What you have with the bigger 140mm intake fan, is positive preassure. That means that more air is getting pumped in than exhausted. This is good. PC cases are in no way insulated systems.

Your intake should be enough. Try it out. Monitor your GPU and CPU temps after a nice long gaming session. If they are within your comfort zone, perfect. They probably will be. Your system will not overheat just because you will put in a more powerfull card. The 290x is not a power plant. It will not overheat your system.

Ok , so i got a

a Corsair Carbide 300r case with 1 140mm front intake fan and 1 120mm  rear outtake fan

besides that i got a i7 2700k with stock cooler, a gtx 660ti and a cs 650w psu

im going to upgrade the 660 ti to a r9 290x tri-x but , i wondered if my system will get to hot , since i dont really have a lot of outtake fans for the gpu , my 660ti is with a reference like cooler so i pushes the air out the back.

so i just wanted to hear if people think it could be a problem.

my budget is only just able to buy the r9 290x , so i dont really have money for extra fans or anything unless i go down to a r9 290

if you think i should get some more cooling , where should i then set it up , and how.

im running with a msi b75ma p45

This ^

Also the Tri-x cooler is very good, idle temps for that card are fairly low compared to other 290's and a ton better than the reference cooler.

You should have no problems at all, however as Stuka says it's worth monitoring your temps with something like Hwmonitor just to be safe.
