Display Port needed to use Nvidia's DSR ?

I was wondering do I need DP to use DSR or I can use HDMI ?

I think you can use HDMI too.. Its a thing in the graphics card not in the monitor or any other hardware

I'm using DVI and I can use it, so I don't see any reason why HDMI shouldn't ...

I use HDMI and DSR works fine.

i was wondering about this.

 

Does anyone know if DSR uses more cable bandwidth than non DSR?
