ok now that we have read this massive doc, holy crap

 

"There is no restriction on the type of movement you can do with the AR vision ON. For example, walking, running, crawling and horseback riding are all super cool in AR."

 

so horseback riding, that's a thing.

 

it's looking like the mobiglass is gonna be rather interesting. also I will totally be aiming for people arms, because yeah, disabling their mobiglass, and possibly any targeting software they may be using will be a good thing, I'm probably gonna need to buy some armor for mine.

 

I wonder if they will let players code their own moduals and stuff for the mobiglass, that could be interesting.

I'm interested in the AR Aiming mechanism. That's legit going to be useful. Also, adding damage states to the MobiGlass?! That's ace! Absolutely bonkers man. Imagine trying to patch through a jump trajectory during a firefight with all the 'glitches' happening--so cinematic!

It is just ridiculous how much thought they put into this. Basically developing a new OS, damage states, interaction zones, different units for different applications, hardware and software customization, and so on.

 

I think just playing around with the mobiGalss will take a lot of time and will be very entertaining.  :lol:
