~snip~

Have you thought of 60% keyboards? Or do you need a keyboard with F-keys? There aren't too many keyboards who have a squished down top row of keys. :c

Yes absolutely.

Anyone know where I can buy the Keycool?

The F keys dont have to be super squished down. But something that is easily reachable for use in MOBOS (i.e. dota)

Try using the PCPartPicker of your country. For me it's simply www.pcpartpicker.com but depending on where you live it will be different.

Simply go to Google and search for PCPartPicker and buy the Keycool through there.

I wasn't able to find the Keycool with that LED and switch combination. I did however manage to find the Noppoo Lolita. (Using cloned version of the Cherry MX Red, I think)

This looks great, but I'm not going to buy a keyboard with the words Lolita on it. I'm sure that means something else for this company, but the common sense definition of Lolita is "    a sexually precocious young girl" . LOL given how much porn there is on the interent, etc...it's a really socially awk to have this.

EDIT: Just want to emphasis how thankful I am to you for putting in the time to look for this. I really appreciate the effort. If you find anything else, please let me know. Cheers :)

Aweomse! Thanks

It doesn't like the Choc Mini lights up :(  ... but still it's my best and only option thus far

The KBT Races is 200$ plus. Out of my budget.

IF any other ideas come up, let me know. I wish I could find the keyboard in my first post, but alas I cant. I think they are only sold in China or something :(

They're either 70% or 75% keyboards but they're really really hard to find and I think you're precluding yourself a whole lot of keyboards this way.

Also, sorry for asking and going off-topic, but have you actually tried that? I mean, I could never use such a keyboard as I'm too used to my standard/ten-key-less layout, you might even feel uncomfortable typing on it if you're coming from another kind of keyboard. You might be better off with a gaming pad or something imho. :)

By the way, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA52S2FM1543&cm_re=kbt-_-0GA-000Z-02DE2-_-Product (Cherry MX Black though..)

75% is not a big priority.

What I want is

  • Red switches
  • F keys that are right above numbers keys (like in ones in this thread)
  • Ideally backlit
  • If possible, no keypad (but this isn't a huge deal)

What if didn't limit it to a small keyboard.

Just want red switches, blue back light, and F keys next to number keys.
