I do mostly video work, but here's what I have:

Samsung NX300

Samsung 18-55 f/3.5-5.6

Samsung 10mm fish-eye f/2.8 (I think?)

Nikon 50mm f/1.8

Nikon 28mm f/2.8

The NX300 images and video look way better with the Nikon primes, but that's expected.

Not home currently, so cant check/deck it out

Nikon D750 or Canon 5D Mark III (soon)

I would wait with that D750 or 5Dmk3, new 5D line(5Dr, 5Ds and 5D mk4) got confirmed and gets announced next week, 4k video, 3types, 50+mp, said to have same price as the mk3

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

50MP? Thats rather unrealistic. Maybe 36MP to keep up with the competition.

Start with a simple camera! an entry-level DSLR and kit-lens can deliver good pictures!

2048.jpg

This was taken with my D3100 and the 18-55 kitlens.

You can get used DSLRs as cheap as 100$ now.

Gear list:

1200d body

Bag for my gear

Remote/intervallo meter

Full steel tripod

Sunhoods(72mm and 52mm)

Extra batteries

Cleaning cloth

Sd cards

And other small things(hot shoe cover etc)

Lenses:

Canon EF 40mm 1:2.8 stm(macro)

Canon EF 50mm 1:1.8 II

Canon zoom lens EF-S 18-200mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS

(All with glass filter, except for my zoom lens, which didnt like cold)

50MP? Thats rather unrealistic. Maybe 36MP to keep up with the competition.

Yes i know, got the same feeling, but a while back pentax released something called "pentax 645z" which is a €8000 body with a 50mp CMOS sensor weighing 1,5kg without lens. So it might be possible, altough that 50mp is a "little" bit of overkill.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

Why do you choose to get a 1200D?

Why do you choose to get a 1200D?

it was the only DSLR in store at the moment(besides a 70D) to me when my 350D started to fail me, which was a bad moment since i just paid my school money and basicly had 0 in savings, was also eyeing the 600D, but mediamarkt aint the best choice for DSLR buying(was bit more expensive then original price) so i was kinda left with just the 1200D, while being not the best choice it gave me the ability to catch a bit up technology wise, which felt good since the 1200D felt like alien tech to me.
