Introduction

The 8th June 2013 i started my build log about my Black/White Switch 810, but i have come in conclusion to start working on another build.

The Switch 810 build contains 4670k, GTX770, Watercooling etc. which is to found here

This time it will be different. There will be stronger components, and a better looking build overall.

The build will be in a Caselabs SMA8, and the reason for that is because i'm super tired of bad quality cases it also have good features and a good look overall. (So big thanks to the guys over at Caselabs for making these amazing cases!)

All pictures is taken with Canon EOS 6D

Case: Caselabs SMA8/Black/XXL Window etc.

Pumps: 2x Alphacool VPP655 w/ top

Res: 2x EK X3 250

Coolant: Mayhem X1 Red?(UV red/Clear red, need help with this one)

What i currently have:

Caselabs SMA8

Corsair AXi860

Alphacool VPP655 w/ top(need 1x more)

2x AF120 Perfomance edt.

EK Supremacy Clean - Acetal+Nickel

Both of the SSD's(Brought em over from last build)

EVGA GTX980 arrived

11.12.2015

Ordered MSI X99 Gaming 7, Intel I7 5820K and HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4

Questions to the community:

Bitspower Enhance(Silver Shining/Black Sparkle/Matte Black)?

Which type of radiators? (I'm thinking EK, Coolgate or Alphacool)

3D Render:

Will end up something like this, except a few things like the fan grill on the bottom rad.

Bitspower matte black would look sweet in this case  :o

Would personaly go for Alphacool

I use clear coolant and mayhems dyes, that way I can control how much colour I want to have ;)

don't use UV red, it can end up looking almost pink

Best of luck  :D

Bitspower FTW, their design and build quality is superb

Coolgate "copper edition" is super nice if you can find them, but for regular rads, #1 Aquacomputer, #2 Alphacool.

Mayhems dyes are pretty good. UV would be cool if you put UV LEDS in. EK also has some cool stuff.

Stupid name: iGTX 47980 =  i7 4790k + GTX 980

Alright name: pc.exe

Project name is set, and new header added :)

Edit: It's between the Alphacool XT45 and Alphacool UT60 now, i'm gonna be running Corsair SP120 quiet edt. Anyone know if the restriction on the UT60 is low enough to run just one set of fans? Or should i go with the XT45 for one set?

I wish i was good at 3d renders, well here are some options on how i can run the loop.

Yellow: Fitting

Red: Part aka Waterblock, Res, Rad etc.

Brown: Pass Thru

White: Tubing

What you think?

Edit: One of the pass thru's went red, it's supposed to be brown.

The GPU doesn't have a rad... and don't think for a second that one rad is going to cut it when you get a second GPU. >Such disappoint

Other than that, i wish you luck.

If u would take the time to read, you would see that im gonna be running 2x 480. One bottom, one top.

Also if you had any clue on WC, you would know that when it says ''Dual Loop'' in the title, it most likely means two radiators since its two splitted up loops.

The reason you can only see one drawing in the picture is because i'm trying to show the pumps down at the bottom, if i was to draw a radiator it would've been hard to show how i'm gonna run the tubing at the bottom.

That's why i was concerned with the "lack" of a second rad in the drawing, and i'm a sucker for not reading much, i usually just skeem over it all.
