1080p 144hz and 1440p 144hz

xnoobftw

I'm planning on getting a 1440p 144hz or a 1080p 144hz monitor with freesync

1.How much do you think those will cost?

24 inch 1440p 144hz

27 inch 1440p 144hz

24inch 1080p 144hz

(All with freesync)

2.Which one would you get out of the above choices also?

(I currently have a 22inch 1080p monitor)

(Please answer 1 and 2) Thanks for your input! :D

Freesync is supposedly free, but I'd expect it to add a little to the price. Look at the prices for those existing monitors, and add a little to get an idea. It will depend on the panel and build quality too obviously.

imo 24 inch 1440p is out of the question.

27 in 1440p 144hz I think is around $750,

24in 1080144hz is around $300 i think.

24 inch 1440p 144hz = dunno of any.

27 inch 1440p 144hz = $760 24 inch 1440p 144hz http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-90lm00u0b01370

24inch 1080p 144hz = $350

If you have the money and GPU power to run the PG278Q get that.

If you don't, do what I would do. I.E. 24" 1080p 144Hz.
The Asus VG248Q ($265) or the BenQ XL2420Z ($335).

1440p panels on their own, already cost $350>, add the still pretty expensive price for 144Hz monitors and the fact that the PG278Q is one of the few 1440p 144Hz monitor ATM (+ the fact that it's Asus) = $750.

Hmmm i would like to go the freesync route... That is one of the main reason why i am getting a new monitor! The other is 144hz as i play quite a lot of FPS and i would like to experience it
